Construction of the Kindred North Motton Irrigation Scheme commences

With the unconditional award of contracts and the approval of construction from the State and Federal Governments, construction of the scheme has now commenced. To date principal contractors VEC Civil and Shaw Contracting have both made a start. VEC have been busy meeting with landholders ahead of pipeline installation commencing in January, while Shaw’s have made a start at the Sprent dam constructing the access road and clearing up the dam site after timber harvesting.
